My diet ended yesterday, and i had my first meat today while in school, consuming fish, fried rice and hotdogs. haha. This was followed by a zinger meal from KFC. I don't know why, when i'm a vegetarian during that period, i envy people eating the meat. However, when i regained mortality in eating those, i somehow felt guilty and the desire to have meat isn't as strong as when i was in the 49 days of animal conservation.
Anyway, i was back to my grandma house last weekend for my grandpa's 49 days thingy. However, this time round, the people that are supposed to be there wherem't there. I pity my grandpa. And this set me thinking about our very own PM's ,Lee Hsien Loong, rally speech. He wanted Singaporeans to have more kids for the economy.
To that, i was thinking: My grandpa had 4 sons, one of whom had passed away even before i was borned, and 4 daughters. Of these kids that he had, they bore him many many grandchildren. Normally, it would be a blessing for one to live to the age of 96 and able to see all his grandchildren grow up. He treated them very good. Probably not in the last five years as he was always sleeping on the bed.
On his 49th day, his son's and daughter's were all back, except for the third who's working in Sarawak and was unable to return(he's very very filial), but not all his inner grandchildren were back.
U may call me whatever, but personally, i think if relatives who were distant, outer grandchildren were present, i don't understand what filial is... This reflects back to what our very own PM said... to have more children.... but if u are lucky and u have filial sons and daughters who eats veggies for 49 days, thats good. But what if they aren't? considering how most of the new generation treat their love ones?
Those who still cannot feel the need to be filial and the need to treasure ur love ones, i would recommend Jack Neo's money no enough 2 for u.
Anyway, despite some of my relatives not being present, my aunts and cousins had quite some bonding sessions and they did some queys...
